Bobby Core
Elekid:
Hard House/Hardcore

At the age of 8, Elekid discovered the wonders of Electronic Music when he heard L.A. Style's "I'm Raving," on the radio. From that point, he was catapulted into Classic House, Hard House, & Ghetto House via late night mixes on the radio by DJs such as Bobby D. and Bad Boy Bill. Towards the mid and late 90s, he started hearing other hard Electronic Music, and fell in love. In 1997, he purchased his first set of decks; A pair of Gemini XL-BD10 turntables. Over the last 13 years, Elekid has worked to become a household name in the harder styles of Electronic Music. His mixing skill, energy, and track selections have gained him widespread recognition across America. Having played a number of different genres, Elekid is very versatile and has a wild imagination when it comes to what he brings to the table. His many mix compilations are models of the creativeness he has. Elekid's "whatever it takes" approach to his performances such as eating records and playing buttplug football during his sets are also well known. His musical tastes stretches from Ambient all the way to Speedcore. Elekid truly is a musical renaissance man. Over the last 5 years, Elekid has taken his intensity and insanity over to the production side of music, creating some unique and high energy tracks such as Tekno Drugs, which has been featured on mix compilations by big name DJs such as DJ Venom's Straight Bangin' 4 album.
